This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take their paralegal career to the next level in a supportive and collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, complaints, subpoenas, interrogatories, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavitsPrepare case files and exhibits for trial; assist with witness coordination and legal researchOrder, review, and summarize medical records for use in discovery responsesSupport attorneys in family settlement discussions and mediation proceedingsLiaise with healthcare providers and insurance companies to negotiate and resolve liens, medical bills, and related expensesUtilize SmartAdvocate or other case management software to maintain organized and up-to-date case filesApply knowledge of the personal injury pre-litigation process to assist with case developmentRequirements3–5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury litigationCompletion of an ABA-approved paralegal program (Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred)NALA certification strongly preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding organizational skills and attention to detailStrong time-management abilities and ability to handle multiple deadlinesExperience with SmartAdvocate or similar case management systems is a plusReady to make a difference?
