Job TitleThe ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada and in good standing. California admission is a plus because we handle personal injury cases out of our Reno office not only for Northern Nevada clients, but from the Bay Area and Eastern California. Potential candidates pending recent bar results are welcome to apply.

Candidates must have a good work ethic, the ability to practice law in a caring and professional manner and to work as part of a team.We are looking for an individual who is outgoing, focused, able to manage a high volume and time sensitive workflow effectively and efficiently. Strong people skills are necessary. The position requires one to work both independently and within a team environment.This is a position for someone who is looking for a long-term commitment with opportunities to grow.Supervisory Responsibilities:Oversees the daily workflow of 2-3 case managers.Duties/Responsibilities:Manage a high-volume caseload of pre-litigation personal injury cases.Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding their personal injury claimsMaintain regular contact with clients to update them on their case status.Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense attorneysStay updated on developments in personal injury law and utilize this knowledge to better serve our clients and the firmCollaborate with internal departments, such as case managers, investigators, and administrative staff, to gather necessary information and support case management effortsCoordinate with external parties, including medical professionals, experts, and other attorneys, as neededParticipate in case review meetings, provide input, and contribute to the development of case strategiesPerforms other duties as requiredRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to manage approximately 250-300 pre-litigation cases and oversee 2-3 case managersThe position requires one to work both independently and within a team environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.RequirementsJ.D.

from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with the Nevada State BarMinimum of 3 years of experience as a pre-litigation attorney with a focus on personal injury lawBilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
