Personal Banking RepresentativeNow hiring for a Personal Banking Representative Location: Abilene, TX Pay Rate: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour We are looking for an experienced banking professional to join a growing community bank in Abilene. This position is focused on building customer relationships, assisting with new and existing accounts, and providing excellent service to bank customers.Job DutiesOpen and maintain checking, savings, CDs, and other deposit accountsAssist customers with account changes, documentation, and questionsProcess deposits, withdrawals, payments, check orders, and other transactionsExplain banking products and services and identify opportunities to meet customer needsBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsProvide professional and responsive customer serviceEnsure account documentation and customer information are accurateFollow bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsMaintain confidentiality of customer and account informationEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required. Associate degree, business coursework, or administrative support training preferred.Experience RequirementsAt least one year of administrative, office support, receptionist, or clerical experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common office software. Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and customer service skills.Preferred QualificationsPrevious banking experience preferred Experience with new accounts, teller operations, universal banking, or personal banking highly preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to handle confidential information Ability to work effectively in a team environment Physical Capabilities Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks. Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment. Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
