Personal & Commercial Insurance Agent

About the Role

We're a growing independent insurance agency in Myrtle Beach looking for an Insurance Agent to join our team. This is a producer role — you'll build your own book of business with real support and mentorship behind you.

We're not looking for a long insurance resume. We're looking for someone coachable, competitive, and hungry, who wants to grow into a high-earning career. If you're licensed — or already working toward it — we'll invest in you.

Open to candidates willing to relocate to the Myrtle Beach area.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and write new personal and commercial lines business
• Build relationships with lenders, real estate agents, and referral partners
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and policy applications
• Partner with carriers and underwriters to secure competitive terms
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system

What We're Looking For

• Active Property & Casualty license, or currently in process of obtaining one
• Out-of-state P&C licenses can be transferred to South Carolina
• Coachable — open to feedback, training, and mentorship
• Self-motivated and comfortable in a goal- and commission-driven environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Able to work full-time, in-office, in Myrtle Beach (relocation candidates welcome)
• Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting (required by South Carolina to sell insurance)
• Prior insurance experience is a plus, not a requirement
