Real Estate Operations Partner High-Ownership Role
I’m looking for a sharp, resourceful person to become a key part of a fast-moving real estate investment business. We work in real estate wholesaling and house flipping, and this position is designed for someone who can take ownership, solve problems, and keep things moving.
This is much more than a traditional assistant position.
I don’t need someone who waits for a list of instructions. I need someone who can recognize what needs attention, figure out the best way to handle it, take action, and keep me updated along the way.
If I mention that we need to improve a process, find a new vendor, organize a workflow, or solve an operational problem, I want you thinking through the options and bringing me a recommendation not simply waiting for me to explain every step.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will vary depending on what the business needs. Some of your work may include:
Managing and updating our CRM and following up with leads
Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and other service providers
Keeping transactions, projects, and important details organized
Researching vendors, services, tools, and business opportunities
Making phone calls and following up with people to get things resolved
Identifying problems before they become bigger issues
Helping improve systems and processes throughout the business
Handling miscellaneous projects that require research, judgment, and follow-through
You won't be doing the exact same thing every day. One day you may be working inside the CRM, another day coordinating with a contractor, and another day researching a completely different business problem.
You should actually enjoy that kind of variety.
The Type of Person We Want
You’ll probably be a strong fit if:
You naturally take initiative instead of waiting for instructions
You can research a problem and find potential solutions independently
You bring ideas and recommendations, not just questions
You notice things that are being overlooked
You’re comfortable making reasonable decisions and taking responsibility for them
You respond well to feedback and use it to improve
You’re organized and good at following through
You can switch between very different types of work without getting overwhelmed
You genuinely want to contribute to building a business rather than simply completing assigned tasks
You don't need to know everything about real estate going in. What matters more is how you think, how quickly you learn, and whether you take ownership of problems.
This Role May Not Be For You If...
You need detailed instructions for every task, prefer a predictable routine, or are uncomfortable making decisions without being told exactly what to do.
There will be plenty of opportunities to learn, but I’m not looking for someone who needs constant hand-holding.
How to Apply
Rather than sending a traditional cover letter, send a short video introduction.
Tell me about a situation where you noticed a problem, took initiative, and solved it especially if nobody specifically asked you to do it.
Keep it to around two minutes. I’m much more interested in hearing how you think and communicate than reading a generic cover letter.
