Requirements
Must have all the following:
* High school diploma or GED and 1 year of work experience in an office environment
* 3 years' experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
* 1 year of applicable work experience in permitting commercial projects.
Preferred
* Bachelors degree in Business, Construction, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
* Applicable work experience in an Architectural or Engineering firm.
* Knowledge of Bluebeam or Smartsheets.
* Able to understand and explain a project's scope of work.
* 2 or more years of applicable work experience in permitting.
* Experience working directly with clients.
Summary
The Permitting Specialist works to perform high level administrative activities required to support multiple types of projects in multiple programs.
