Mine Permitting SpecialistThe Mine Permitting Specialist will participate in the planning and preparation of mining permit applications modifications, and annual reports for multiple regulatory agencies; conduct onsite regulatory inspections; and obtain other regulatory approvals to meet business objectives. Additional responsibilities will include providing support to Ecology and Reclamation staff on reclaimed land and enhancement projects related to land use / habitat updates and adaptive management strategies for both reclamation and mitigation areas; support all aspects of permit modifications including conducting wetland delineations and habitat zonation; and coordinating and capturing changes to infrastructure requirements and permit timing needs.What you'll do:Participates in permit application preparation, submission and mitigation monitoring.Provides technical expertise in various assessments required by permitting projects.Communicates with regulatory agencies and municipalities as needed to facilitate processing of mine permits and related approvals. Attend meetings with regulatory agencies and public hearings as needed.
