Insight Global is looking for a Permitting Coordinator to join a growing utility team in the Lutz, FL area!
In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing and creating permit documentation that allows utility teams access to county and city right-of-way areas for surveying and infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and interested in building a career in the utility industry.
What We're Looking For:
- AA degree in any field (if no prior permitting experience)
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, and other software tools)
- Reliable, independent worker who enjoys focused tasks
- Interest in the utility, engineering, or infrastructure space
- CAD experience through schooling or work experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review permit applications for accuracy
- Submit permits electronically and through municipal processes
- Ensure compliance with local rules, regulations, and requirements
- Support utility surveying projects by coordinating right-of-way access
