Permit Project CoordinatorWe're looking for a Permit Project Coordinator on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. It is a W-2 position. You will manage and facilitate the permitting process. This process involves building renewable energy facilities.
You will work directly with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to obtain permits. We require these permits to build and operate the facility. Renewable energy facilities include solar, wind, battery energy storage, and associated transmission and substation infrastructure. We may require you to travel occasionally to project sites and regulatory offices. You will report to the onsite manager.
Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage permit applications for renewable energy construction projects across multiple jurisdictionsDevelop and maintain relationships with local AHJs to facilitate the permitting processInterpret and apply local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirementsPrepare and review permit applications and supporting documentationCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, development and project management teamsTrack and report permit status and ensure timely submission of all required documentationCoordinate permit activity timelines in alignment with the overall project scheduleIdentify and assess permit risks, develop mitigation strategies and report to project teamMaintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, and related communicationsAttend pre-application meetings with regulatory agenciesKeep project teams informed of permitting timelines and requirementsQualifications5+ years of experience in a corporate environment in permitting, regulatory compliance, or related fieldExperience with construction projects related to renewable energy, electrical utility, or major infrastructure permittingUnderstanding of building codes and permitting processesOur Safety Pledge to You: If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
