We are a large scale industrial electrical contractor with projects located across the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and proactive Permit and License Technician to join our growing electrical contracting office.

The Permit and License Tech supports the operations and estimating departments by managing permit capture for new jobs, licensing requirements for jurisdictions we are currently operating in, and supporting key employees with their licenses and renewals.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with Estimating to determine jurisdictionWork with authorities to obtain permitsWork with Operations to schedule inspector visitsMaintain current active licensesMaintain qualifier licenses.Partner with appropriate parties to resolve compliance issuesOther duties as assignedQualificationsExperience with construction permitting processUnderstanding of general municipal codes and construction proceduresProficiency in Microsoft ExcelHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailKey CompetenciesStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAnalytical problem-solving abilityCustomer-service mindsetAbility to prioritize and meet deadlinesWork EnvironmentIn-office work requiredFast-paced construction environmentInteraction with internal office staff, superintendents, and project managersCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, vision and life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysReds Electrical Service Inc is an equal opportunity employer.
