A full-time orthopedic extremity surgeon position is available in Houston, Texas. The role focuses on acute musculoskeletal and personal injury care. Responsibilities include treating upper- and lower-extremity injuries using surgical and non-surgical approaches in a high-volume, procedure-forward practice environment. The surgeon will evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute orthopedic injuries throughout treatment and recovery, performing extremity-focused surgical and procedural interventions. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team and strong operational and administrative support are provided. Clinical autonomy is available in a physician-focused practice environment.
Requirements include board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery, strong experience treating orthopedic and extremity-related injuries, and experience with acute musculoskeletal and personal injury care. Orthopedic trauma, emergency orthopedic care, upper-extremity surgery, lower-extremity surgery, sports injuries, inpatient orthopedic care, and acute injury surgery experience are preferred. An active Texas medical license or eligibility for Texas licensure is required.
Compensation starts at $700,000+ with a base salary range of $450,000–$700,000, including a bonus opportunity and total earning potential approaching $1 million.
