Mount Airy, North Carolina, a small rural community, offers a unique environment for a gastroenterologist.

Responsibilities

• See an average of 16 patients per day in the office and 4 per month in the hospital.
• Office hours are 8 am – 5 pm, Monday–Friday; light on‑call duties.
• Perform endoscopic procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, esophageal dilation, and liver biopsy.
• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders such as ulcers and esophageal reflux.
• Work at a brand‑new GI clinic opening this summer.
• Be employed by a large healthcare system for financial stability.
