- Perform diagnostic X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment at various healthcare and nursing facilities
- Ensure high-quality, clinician-diagnostic images and transmit to radiologists for interpretation
- Maintain and troubleshoot portable X-ray equipment and vehicles
- Perform EKGs and transmit results to cardiologists if required
- Scan and document exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, peers, and clients
- Maintain safety standards and proper equipment sanitation
Required:
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
- Certification in basic life support (BLS)
- Minimum 1 year of radiologic technology experience
- Ability to obtain clinically diagnostic images
- Experience with portable digital and computed radiography
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
