What You'll Do
- Perform mobile X-ray procedures using digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment
- Acquire high-quality, clinically diagnostic images for physician review
- Set up and unload portable X-ray equipment at various facilities
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and transmit results for interpretation (if applicable)
- Maintain all imaging equipment and ensure vehicle readiness
- Communicate professionally with facility staff, dispatch, and management
- Scan and transmit exam paperwork and billing documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality protocols
What You Need
- ARRT certification required
- Valid license to practice radiologic technology in South Carolina
- Prior experience performing portable X-ray procedures
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently (additional equipment weight may increase with use of ramps/pulleys)
