Pay & Benefits
- Pay package discussed upon application
- Salary: Starting at $500,000 (0-3 years), up to $600,000 (7+ years)
- Bonus: Potential up to $75,000 annually based on performance
- One-time signing bonus: $50,000
- Relocation stipend: Up to $15,000
- Vacation: 176 hours/year + 240-hour carryover limit
- Sick leave: 120 hours/year
- Holidays: 11 paid days annually
- CME allowance: $7,500/year
- Retirement: 401k and 403b options; eligibility for OSU benefits
- Faculty appointment: Assistant or Associate Professor at The Ohio State University
What You’ll Do
- Establish and lead a community-based vascular surgery program
- Provide advanced surgical care for aneurysms, carotid disease, limb salvage, and access management
- Perform open and endovascular procedures
- Manage vascular conditions with medical and non-surgical therapies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiology and radiology
- Supervise APPs involved in vascular care delivery
- Contribute to program growth, including recruitment and facility expansion
- Educate patients and families on treatment options and prevention
- Develop relationships with referring physicians
- Participate in hospital, college, and medical center service activities
- Serve as a preceptor and trainer for medical students, residents, and staff
What You Need
Required:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
- Ohio medical license or eligible
- Strong surgical skills in both open and endovascular techniques
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Leadership experience or interest in program development
- Comfort with multidisciplinary care models and education roles
