Gastroenterologist Position in Ashtabula, OH
Join a thriving multi-specialty group practice situated in Ashtabula, Ohio! Our facility comprises over 60 employed providers, including 21 primary care physicians. It features a fully accredited 186-bed acute care hospital with high patient safety and quality recognitions, offering a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment. Experience a high volume office practice in a city with a population of around 98,000, complemented by an engaged community.
Job Responsibilities:

• See 15-20 patients per day in a non-negotiable capacity.
• Provide outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine services.
• Collaborate with a group of two physicians in a supportive practice.
• Utilize fully integrated EMR (EPIC) within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
• Get involved with an experienced Urologist and a fully trained staff, including an Advanced Practice Provider.
• Manage blocked time in the OR efficiently.
• Access onsite lab and X-ray facilities.
• Leverage well-defined referral sources from employed and affiliated primary care physicians.
• Participate in on-call duties, which equate to approximately 10 days a month.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Ohio medical license (or in process of obtaining).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required by start date).
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
• DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
• Willingness to relocate or live within a 40-mile radius of Ashtabula.
• Must not be accepting locum submissions.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
• Ohio medical license (or obtaining).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• DEA registration prior to employment.
• NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days.
