This is a cool place to work, will discuss once we get qualified candidatesWe will do online tech evaluations – proctored -no ability to cheatDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Consult clearly and professionally with departments/ internal customers on software requirements, capabilities, proposals, and technical issues to include software design and maintenance.Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.Develop design and software documentation as required.Adhere to coding standards.Assist with debugging and research of reported issues.Provide accurate work effort estimates to the best of their ability.Willingness to jump in and learn new software languages where necessary for support of legacy applications.Experience:Proficient with one or more of the following is required: Perl, PHP, Python and/or C#.Demonstrates basic knowledge of object-oriented development.SQL Experience to include database creation, maintenance and troubleshooting. MySQL and or Postgres Database experience preferred.Possesses basic knowledge of classes, components, objects, and interfacesPossess knowledge of various database access methodsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBroad analytical skills including data and systems analysisDetail orientedThrives in collaborative environment
