Role:
ECMO specialist responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans for ECMO patients, collaborating with healthcare team members to interpret and adjust care as needed.
Key Duties:
Participate in patient assessment, planning, and education related to ECMO therapy; communicate effectively with physicians and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and completion of ECMO training or formal education in Extra Corporeal Circulation.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid RN license (Texas) or RRT or CCP certification, along with BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.
Experience:
At least 2 years of critical care experience required.
