Manager Performance TestingAs Manager Performance testing you will act in this role as Performance tech lead and project manager supporting multiple clinical applications. You will work on projects ensuring consistency in all project work and be responsible for facilitating all activities pertaining execution of Performance testing. The projects you will lead will be geared toward supporting clinical utilization management and care management.
This position will guide and serve a team that delivers technology solutions through effective application of Agile principles and you will directly be working with architects, developers, QA & business teams defining strategies and execution plans for performance testing initiatives for critical tier 1 applications.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesOverall responsible for project delivery and technical leadership for performance testing initiatives from project kick off to closureWork with Business, Architects, Production support and other stake holders to understand Non-functional requirementsReview Production stats to determine SLAs for new features to be implemented in productionThorough understanding of capturing non-Functional requirements and ensure NFR are captured clearlyDefined Performance testing and monitoring solution approach, monitoring approach, tool selection for Performance testing initiativesDefine Testing scope and approach. Develop performance testing strategy.Define performance metrics, testing types, identify dependencies for environment setup and test execution. Define success criteria.Determine data requirements and develop data strategyDefine stress end to end environment setup and coordinate activities for environment setupPresent Performance testing approach and execution plan with leadership for large programs and initiativesCreate Project plan, scopes and project sing-offsConduct WPR and WPI review for Performance Test Strategy, Scripts, Data and Test ResultsDefine load profile for applications and share best practicesHold regular meetings to track project progress, review task and dependencies with the teamClosely with Train RTE, Scrum masters, Program Business and IT leadership for major programs and projects.Understand cross application dependencies impacting projects and programs testedAnalyze and Troubleshoot, triage Application or Environmental Issues with help of tools.Provide analytical stats on results and issues.
Review/Analyze results and provide sign-offProduction monitoring/support and Production issue analysisProvider recommendations for continuous improvement, document best practices and share lessons learnedRequired Qualifications7+ years of Performance testing experience5+ years of leadership experience, preferably managing and leading project deliveryExtensive experience on scripting and execution tools such as LoadRunner, Performance Center, jmeter and BlazeMeter etc.Experience with using Analytical tools with Application Performance management tool expertise. Analyze and Troubleshoot performance issues with use of tools available. SPLUNK, AppDynamics, DynatraceOverall understanding of architecture, infrastructure and technology stack to conduct performance testing (APIC, IIB, DB2,.Net, Java MarkLogic, Salesforce etc)Preferred QualificationsGood understanding of the Application Architecture and latest technologiesProvide technical guidance to performance testing team during project deliveryThorough understanding of performance testing process and methodology.Define best practices for scripting, data management and executionUnderstanding on other monitoring tool available for Salesforce such as Einstein Analytics.Understanding of industry standard tools and providing recommendations and performing tools evaluation, conduct R&D and share knowledge with teamDemonstrated abilities to lead under pressure, adapt to changing dynamics, and find solutions that satisfy multiple stakeholdersCommitment to quality, while being able to prioritize and excel in a fast-paced environmentEmpathetic leader with a proven track record of building relationships with internal and external partnersThe minimum education requirement is a bachelor's degreeRequired Skills: Performance Testing, Splunk, Load RunnerBasic Qualification:Additional Skills:This is a high PRIORITY requisition.
