Drives and coordinates performance improvement program activities and workflow to enhance organizational excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with multidisciplinary teams to identify challenges, resolve critical issues, address cost containment opportunities, and successfully implement innovative services, systems, and performance measures that drive meaningful results.
* Research, develop, and implement cutting-edge improvement systems, methodologies, and tools that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Engage with Leaders to develop and refine screening indicators that support organizational goals and quality standards.
* Deliver comprehensive on-site training and ongoing support to performance improvement teams, ensuring successful adoption and sustainability of initiatives.
* Lead regulatory documentation preparation, submission, and maintenance activities while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
* Champion policy, procedure, and contract review processes while coordinating quality improvement initiatives that create lasting organizational impact.
Qualifications
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
* BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
* Certification specializing in Lean Healthcare Management preferred
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
* Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable
* RN preferred with 3-5 years of acute care experience preferred. - Previous quality improvement experience preferred along with strong analytical skills and clinical skills to determine gaps in care and opportunities for improvement.
* 3-5 years of hospital experience, Clinical Emergency Department Experience preferred.
* Proficient with Microsoft office, have knowledge of medical terminology.
