To support a growing team, the remote Performance-Focused Software Engineer in Test (SDET) will develop and maintain performance testing frameworks, execute test strategies, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure software quality and performance. Key responsibilities Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional automation and performance testing Establish performance baselines and analyze test results to identify trends and performance regressions Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, and backend systems Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation and performance testing Hands-on experience with k6 as a primary performance testing tool and Playwright for test automation Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or TypeScript Experience with CI/CD tools and repository management (e.g., Bitbucket, Jenkins) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
