Lead Performance EngineerClient: SEI InvestmentsLocation: Oaks, PA (must be able to work out of office on hybrid schedule within 1-2 months of starting)Interview Process:Apex Technical Screening2 Client Round InterviewsWhat You’ll Do:Create performance test strategy estimates based on scope, requirements, and timelinesPreparing and executing the implementation of test strategies as defined by entrance and exit criteriaReact to changing project plans and produce creative, alternative solutions to keep the project on trackWork in a collaborative team-oriented environment using and implementing best practices with respect to load generation, bottleneck analysis, usage of modeling tools and statistical analysisEffectively implement performance testing in an agile development environmentDevelop and design technical performance scenarios based on our business and functional requirementsProducing high-quality performance automated test cases to meet all project deadlines and ensuring the system is scalableAnalyze and resolve issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle; coordinate changes with project team leaders and cross-work team membersInteracts with data architects, other tech leads, team members and project manager as required addressing technical and scheduling issuesResponsible for insuring team designs and delivers code in alignment with published & industry standardsAssist in building testing environments using migration framework and methodologyWhat You Bring To The Table:Minimum of 7 years’ experience with performance testing, tuning, and analysisMust have a strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologiesObject orientated programming experience for the automation of load testing (examples: Net, Java, Apache, java script orpython)Must be familiar with load test scripts in the following protocols: Rest, SOAP, JSON-RPC, and XML-RPCMust be able to perform in-depth analysis of load tests both in real-time test execution and in post-run review in order to test validity of APIs, triage failures, report on any performance issues and identify and provide recommendations on next stepsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be familiar with real-time, user-facing testing methodologies and approachesFamiliar with multiple load testing tools such as JMeterMust have minimum of 3 years of strong understanding of monitoring solutions and KPIs for load and performance testingMust have a basic understanding of Linux and Windows ServerMust have minimum of 3 years’ experience using diagnostic tools like Dynatrace, HTTP Watch, Fiddler, IE and Chrome Developer Tools or equivalentsBS Degree in Computer Science or applicable programming area of study or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 3 years of experience working with an application development organization; must demonstrate experience testing and delivering systems with exceptionally high degree of qualityWorking experience with SQL, Python, SmartBear products, JIRA and ConfluenceWork experience within financial management organization preferredKnowledge of scalability in various cloud offerings a plusRequired Skills: Experience working with off-shore teams - providing on-shore leadership.
