Performance Analytics Product Development – Assistant Vice PresidentThe Performance Analytics Product Development team is seeking a business analyst / product owner to work with Product, Technology, and Service Delivery teams to design and deliver performance and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into clear product requirements and Agile stories, supporting end-to-end delivery from testing through production rollout, and serve as a subject matter expert for performance and analytics capabilities and applications.In this role, you will be responsible to:Gather requirements and create detailed product requirements, technical requirements, feature specifications, and agile storiesDefine requirements for investment analytics, data models, and data mappingBecome a subject matter expert for Performance & Analytics applicationsDevelop product roadmaps, business cases, project objectives, operating models, product design, product requirements, process flows, and wireframesDefine and maintain project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, architecture, and cross product dependenciesCollaborate with Product, Technology, Service Delivery, and other internal stakeholders in the development and rollout of new products and product capabilitiesProvide regular status updates and supporting program management reports as neededSupport product testing including user acceptance testing as well as test case and test dataDrive product readiness including release notes, documentation, training, and governance activities for new capabilities and enhancementsWhat we value:Experience in financial services and investment analysis, including product development, analysis, operations processing, reporting and enhancement initiatives.Ability to articulate product capabilities and benefits to teammates, senior management, clients, and colleagues in technology and service deliveryStrong analytical capability in both quantitative and technical domainsComfort and experience with financial data modeling and mappingAbility to work with stakeholders, develop and maintain relationships, and act as a persuasive change agent with strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to distil complex information into clear, concise, actionable insightsStrong collaboration, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skillsStrong communication skills to clearly articulate ideas and ability to use experience and analysis to gain support, facilitate consensus, and forge collaboration with internal and external partiesFamiliarity with software development processes and software/product life cycle development activitiesQualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services, preferably in investment performance reporting, business analysis for product development, product managementBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or equivalent.Advanced degrees in Finance or related professional certifications (CA/CFA/CIPM/CAIA or equivalent) a plusStrong skillset with quantitative methods and solutionsStrong technology insights with demonstrated ability to work across business lines/functionsPreferred Qualifications:Prior Product Management, Change Management, or relevant Consulting experienceKnowledge of Performance Analytics concepts and applicationsSoftware development or technical solution experienceExperience with project management/documentation tools such as Confluence and Jira.SQL proficiency and experience with data visualization tools.Salary Range:$80,000 - $140,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
