Per Diem Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services
Boulder City Hospital is seeking a skilled and dependable Per Diem Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Services team. In this role, you will support physicians and surgeons during operative, invasive, and GI procedures while ensuring a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Pay Rate: $30.75 per hour
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and surgeons during operative, invasive, and GI procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the Surgical Services Department for procedures.
- Ensure proper setup of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Follow strict aseptic and sterile technique during all surgical procedures.
- Observe and maintain patient safety standards in all care activities.
- Clean, care for, and properly handle surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist with the sterilization and maintenance of surgical supplies.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to support efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program REQUIRED.
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification REQUIRED.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and respond quickly in surgical situations.
Work Schedule:
- Per Diem (as needed)
- Must be flexible to support surgical services when coverage is required.
