Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Marietta, GA

A well-established independent pharmacy group in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for a per diem position with potential growth into part-time floater coverage. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to support multiple locations while providing excellent patient care.
Location:

• Based in Marietta, GA
• Coverage across a family of four independently owned pharmacies within the Atlanta metro area

Schedule:

• Per diem position initially, with potential to expand up to 30-35 hours per week
• Typical hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform primary retail pharmacy duties including prescription verification, dispensing, and patient counseling
• Manage a volume of approximately 100-150 prescriptions per day
• Handle specialty medications, including preparation and packaging for delivery via mail and courier services
• Float between up to four pharmacy locations, adapting to diverse patient populations and site-specific workflows
• Utilize PrimeRX pharmacy software (experience preferred)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse patient base
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple sites
• Familiarity with specialty medication handling is a plus
