Schedule

Day shift, Per Diem

Available during regular school hours at assigned site and for required meetings within the parameters of the scheduled work day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech‑language therapy services, focusing on improving a child's ability to participate fully in the school environment.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate goal‑oriented educational interventions for students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and the interdisciplinary team; participate in IEP and other school meetings (in‑person, by phone, or virtual).
• Provide instruction, training, supervision, and monitoring of school personnel on therapeutic plans, techniques, and modalities.
• Assess, re‑assess, and evaluate students, meeting district and CSH School Services requirements and timelines.
• Maintain therapy inventory and equipment.
• Complete required documentation, databases, schedules, and billing logs per district and department policy.
• Complete mandatory education and training requirements within stated timeframes.
• Support the mission and goals of Children's Specialized Hospital's School Services as a representative of the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Active NJ Speech Language Pathology License.
• School Certification in New Jersey.
• Experience working with medically fragile children and pediatric affiliation (preferred).

Certifications and Licenses Required

• NJ Speech Language Pathology License.
• School Certification in New Jersey.

Other Duties

• Will participate in IEP and other school meetings when appropriate.
• Supports efforts to accomplish the goals of Children's Specialized Hospital's School Services, representing the organization and adhering to non‑compete policies.
