What You’ll Do
- Conduct nursing assessments based on patient interviews, examinations, and record reviews.
- Develop goal-oriented care plans with patient involvement.
- Implement nursing actions consistent with care plans and medical regimens.
- Demonstrate technical skills reflecting professional nursing knowledge and judgment.
- Assist in developing and evaluating standards of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching, counseling, and discharge planning.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year RN telemetry Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License and current registration in New York State required.
- BCLS/ACLS certification required.
- Certification and EKG skills required.
