What You'll Do
- Complete nursing assessments accurately and timely.
- Develop and implement a plan of care reflecting patient needs and goals.
- Provide, evaluate, and modify nursing care to achieve objectives.
- Complete patient care documentation per established standards.
- Administer medications safely according to professional standards.
- Transcribe or acknowledge doctors' orders and carry them out as directed.
- Coordinate nursing care activities with other care team members.
- Assess patient education needs and provide necessary information.
- Mentor and teach healthcare team members as needed.
- Actively participate in team conferences and meetings.
Requirements
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience:
- Experience in nursing preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
