Role Overview: The Per Diem RN I provides direct nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort in accordance with professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Applying clinical nursing skills to deliver quality patient care.
- Using equipment and supplies for diverse patient needs, including CPR, oxygen, and IV therapy.
- Travel within the region as needed.
- Participating in new grad preceptoring programs and supervision when applicable.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an approved RN program.
- At least 1 year of RN experience or previous LVN experience.
- Valid Texas RN license and current BLS certification.
- Ability to work 5 shifts per month and respond to holiday shifts.
- Strong computer skills, CPR, oxygen, IV therapy experience, and CRT skills.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree, specialty certification, ACLS.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay ranges from $29 to $52, depending on experience and qualifications.
