Per Diem Retail Pharmacist
We are looking for an experienced Retail Pharmacist to join a per diem team supporting local pharmacy operations. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist who currently works part-time and wants additional flexibility while helping cover call-outs, vacations, and periods of increased pharmacy volume.
Position Highlights:
- Setting: Retail Pharmacy
- Position: Per Diem Pharmacist
- Schedule: Monday–Saturday, typically 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, with some locations operating until 8:00 PM
- Hours: Per diem/as-needed; hours are not guaranteed
- Ideal for pharmacists currently working 2–4 days per week who have availability to pick up additional shifts
- QS1 pharmacy system
- One 8-hour training shift provided before covering independently, with additional training available as needed
Requirements:
- Active pharmacist license in the state of employment
- 1–2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
- Strong retail pharmacy background and ability to work independently
- Active immunization privileges
- Current BLS certification
- Comfortable working in both technician-supported and pharmacist-only environments
- Ability to step in for call-outs, vacations, and unexpected increases in prescription volume
- Willingness to complete required training prior to providing coverage
