What You'll Do

• Adhere to patient care and nursing standards in care delivery.
• Engage in self‑assessment and peer review for professional development.
• Serve as a support, resource, and preceptor for nursing staff and students.
• Comply with annual education and mandatory/regulatory requirements.
• Organize staff assignments to ensure appropriate delegation of activities.
• Comply with unit‑based and organizational professional standards.
• Analyze achievement of unit throughput efficiencies and metrics.
• Coordinate and direct unit activities to provide patient care.
• Evaluate the patient's progress towards expected outcomes.
• Educate the patient/family regarding health status and established plan of care.

Requirements

Education:

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required

Experience:

• 2 years of OR experience required

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
