Overview
This per diem Regional Radiation Oncologist position involves managing in- and out-patient consultations, CT simulation, treatment planning, chart rounds, tumor boards, and follow-up clinics at two hospital centers.
Duration and Schedule
The role is temporary, lasting approximately four to eight months, covering weekly and vacation periods, with potential on-call duties.
Qualifications
- MD, ABR certification or eligibility
- Valid New York State license
- DEA certification
- Medicaid number
Strong clinical skills, teaching interest, and excellent communication are preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is $150/hour. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to resident education within a university-affiliated clinical setting. Hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from NYC, New Jersey, and Long Island.
