Per Diem Pharmacist | Timpson, Texas

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist seeking per diem shifts in the Timpson, TX area. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by providing essential medication dispensing, counseling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards at a well-established retail pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to customers
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions as needed
• Perform inventory management and assist in maintaining clean, organized work areas
• Provide excellent customer service to build patient trust and satisfaction

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy system is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule:

• Flexible per diem shifts available on select dates including Fridays and Mondays in October and November
• Operating hours typically from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM; some shifts are shorter (9 AM to 2 PM)
