This per diem pharmacist role offers an opportunity to support a dynamic pharmacy team in daily operations. You will be part of a ready team that steps in to cover call outs, vacations, and volume spikes in various retail pharmacy locations. The ideal candidate works part time, approximately 2-4 days per week, with flexibility to assist as needed.
Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule:
- Pharmacy hours are Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with some locations open until 8:00 PM
- Hours are not guaranteed; scheduling is based on coverage needs
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in retail settings averaging 100-125 prescriptions per day
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians or independently manage pharmacist-only sites
- Participate in training sessions to become proficient in site-specific systems and workflow
- Ensure compliance with immunization protocols and maintain current BLS certification
- Utilize QS1 pharmacy software effectively
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a retail pharmacy environment
- Valid immunization privilege and current BLS card
- Comfortable working in both team-supported pharmacies and pharmacist-only locations
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to cover varying shifts
- A dedicated 8-hour training shift will be provided with opportunities for additional training as required
