Pharmacists are needed to provide per diem support within a retail pharmacy setting located in the Derby, KS area. This role offers an opportunity to join a community pharmacy team with manageable daily prescription volumes and strong support staff, ensuring smooth workflow and quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety protocols
- Consult with patients and healthcare providers regarding medication therapy and usage
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and team members to maintain a high level of service
- Utilize the Rx30 pharmacy software to manage prescription records and transactions
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and manage documentation according to standards
- Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28
- Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13 Shift hours run from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
- Experience working in retail pharmacy preferred
- Familiarity with Rx30 or similar pharmacy management software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This per diem role offers flexibility with semi-regular shifts and a supportive work environment characterized by moderate prescription volume (100-125 per day) and excellent technician assistance.
