PeaceHealth is looking for a per diem Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in Bellingham, WA.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Pediatric MD/DO
- At least 2 years of post‑training experience that includes hospital work
Scope of Care / Responsibilities
- In‑house 24/7 coverage for Whatcom County’s only community hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center (Level II Trauma)
- Care for the Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support
- Coverage will include 12‑hour day shifts, 12‑hour night shifts, 9‑hour day shifts, and additional daytime shifts as the program grows
- Work within a collegial, supportive team focused on high‑quality, evidence‑based medicine
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $132.71 per hour
- Fully paid malpractice insurance
