About This Role
The Per Diem Nurse Educator at Mount Sinai Brooklyn is responsible for managing, assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating clinical and educational activities, including orientation and staff development.

What You'll Do
- Plan, supervise, implement, and evaluate nursing educational systems and programs.
- Prepare budgets and control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
- Review, modify, and evaluate educational recordkeeping and reporting systems.
- Conduct and participate in research activities related to nursing.
- Determine the educational needs of employees through collaboration.
- Develop and implement learning packages and educational materials.
- Communicate educational program plans to encourage participation.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations.
Requirements
Education:- Master's degree in Nursing/Allied Health with experience in Nursing Education and/or Nursing Leadership required.
- Demonstrated competence and progressive experience in Education and/or Management strongly preferred.
- New York State Nursing License, current registration.
- BLS instructor required, ACLS instructor preferred (American Heart Association).
- Professional Board certification in clinical specialty or staff development recommended.
