Per Diem Inpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Greenfield, MA

Baystate Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient psychiatry team in a flexible per diem/on-call role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PMHNP who is looking for additional clinical work while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.

In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting, working collaboratively with psychiatrists, APPs, nurses, social workers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.

Position Highlights

• Per diem/on-call position designed to provide additional coverage for the inpatient psychiatry service

• Provide psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based medication management
• Manage acute and chronic psychiatric conditions in an inpatient setting

Compensation: The compensation ranges below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Salary Range: $144,610- $183,175

Qualifications: Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Previous PMHNP experience strongly preferred

Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively and independently in an inpatient environment
