Hospice Nurse RN Night Shift

Hourly Pay Range: $43 - $54/hour, based on experience

Per-Diem Hours: the shift is 4pm – 8am only, no fixed days, pick up when you are available

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an RN available to work 4pm– 8am, per-diem (no fixed schedule), triaging calls and visiting hospice patients throughout the shift.

Your Role and Impact:

• Work on-call from 4pm – 8am only, pick up shifts when you are available
• Triage all phone calls , received through our answering service, between 4pm and 8am for Broad Reach Hospice patients.
• Visit hospice patients as required for patient/family support and support of day nursing staff. Provide expert nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support tailored to each patient's needs.

Who You Are:

• A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts. Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred but not required.
• Compassion, with a deep understanding of the emotional complexities involved in end-of-life care.
• An exceptional communicator and a strong advocate for patient and family needs.
• A team player who collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
