Per Diem Anesthesiologist

• Provides anesthesia services for a diverse case mix at White Plains Hospital and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers
• Recent enhancements include a Night Float Anesthesiologist for Labor and Delivery
• Vibrant and energetic group composed of 45 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs
• Covers 41 anesthetizing locations daily
• Works together in a care team model

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• W2: $280/hour
• 1099: $305/hour

Shift & Schedule

• Low frequency of call
• Very efficient peel off system
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases
• Great variety of cases including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro and ortho
• No transplant cases and no trauma
• Cardiac and young pediatrics cases covered by the cardiac and peds team

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
