Job Title: PeopleSoft Technical Support Engineer - Consultant ( 10157)
Location: Columbia, South Carolina (100% Remote - Candidates must be CURRENT SC residents)
Duration: 8 Months Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Position Overview
The Client is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Support Engineer / Systems Administrator to provide backfill support during the transition to a new HR/FIN ERP system .
The role involves administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools environments across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and support PeopleSoft components including WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, and Application Messaging.
• Administer PeopleSoft environments running on Oracle UNIX, Windows, and Oracle infrastructure .
• Install and configure PeopleTools components such as Integration Broker, Interaction Hub, Secure Enterprise Search (SES), and PeopleSoft Test Framework.
• Set up and configure Integration Broker gateway, services, service operations, queues, routings, and application messaging for integrations.
• Apply Tax Updates using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and Change Assistant .
• Install new PeopleSoft environments and refresh non-production environments.
• Monitor system performance and administer services across all PeopleSoft environments.
• Troubleshoot development and production application issues across multiple environments and platforms.
• Provide technical support and system management for PeopleSoft HR systems and related applications.
• Perform security administration for access to global HR systems and applications .
• Assist with debugging and tuning batch cycles .
• Ensure services are delivered according to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) .

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Systems Administrator
• 5+ years of experience with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft technologies including:
  • PeopleCode
  • Application Engine
  • Integration Broker
  • XML Publisher
  • SQR
  • Data Mover
  • Query
  • nVision Reports
  • PeopleSoft Test Framework
• 5+ years of experience maintaining, monitoring, and supporting PeopleSoft components
• 5+ years of experience applying Tax Updates using PUM and Change Assistant
• 5+ years of experience installing and configuring PeopleTools components
• 5+ years of experience installing new PeopleSoft environments and refreshing non-production environments
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting development and production application issues across multiple environments
• 5+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows batch server environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with security administration for global HR systems and applications
• Experience monitoring system performance and administering PeopleSoft services
• Experience debugging and tuning PeopleSoft batch cycles

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Equivalent professional experience will be considered
