As a trusted advisor and coach, the remote People Business Partner will support managers of an hourly, shift-based workforce by navigating employee relations, performance management, and organizational needs while ensuring compliance with employment laws. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary People Business Partner for in-person backup care operations, addressing the unique needs of an hourly workforce Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and team dynamics while navigating complex employee situations Utilize People data for workforce planning and recommend solutions to enhance retention and address organizational changes Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years in HR Generalist or People Business Partner roles Experience supporting an hourly, shift-based workforce with an understanding of frontline team needs Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, particularly for multi-state workforces Proven relationship-building and communication skills to manage sensitive People matters effectively Experience with tools like Greenhouse, Google Workspace, and Slack, with a preference for familiarity with remote work environments
