Pennsylvania Licensed Utilization Review Liaison

To support patient access to care, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Utilization Review Liaison will coordinate authorizations, conduct utilization reviews, and collaborate with clinical teams and insurance providers, all while working remotely from the Pittsburgh, PA area. Key responsibilities Gather and manage clinical information for concurrent and retrospective reviews to secure treatment authorizations Collaborate with clinical staff and utilization review team members to maintain workflow and communicate authorization updates Investigate denied claims and assist in recovering payments for services rendered while educating staff on insurance procedures Required qualifications Bachelor's degree Familiarity with drug and alcohol treatment, mental health treatment, and/or managed care processes Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications Strong understanding of utilization review and insurance authorization processes Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
