To support a growing specialty oncology pharmacy, the full-time Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialist will manage patient insurance verifications, coordinate benefits, and ensure accurate documentation while working remotely with active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician credentials. Key responsibilities Practices first call resolution to assist healthcare providers and patients with pharmacy needs Provides accurate and timely responses regarding benefit information to pharmacy operations, providers, and patients Performs full benefits verification for pharmacy and medical benefits, documenting outcomes in the CPR+ system Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED; previous experience in pharmacy, medical billing, or benefits verification Active Pharmacy Technician License/Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by state law 1+ years of pharmacy or benefit verification experience Knowledge of pharmacy insurance and benefit verification, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills and basic math abilities
