Pennsylvania Attorney Opportunity – Creditors' Rights / Litigation

Location Philadelphia, PA

Our client is seeking a Pennsylvania-licensed Attorney to join its legal team handling civil collection and litigation matters. This role is a strong fit for an attorney who is comfortable managing cases independently, negotiating resolutions, and appearing in court as needed throughout an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate settlements and work toward resolution of active litigation matters.


• Draft, review, and file pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other legal documents.


• Represent clients at hearings and trials throughout the assigned region.


• Work closely with internal staff, opposing counsel, and other parties to move cases toward timely and appropriate resolution.


• Evaluate case details and determine effective strategies for settlement and litigation.


• Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and priorities across an active caseload.


• Travel within the assigned territory for court appearances as necessary, with mileage and eligible travel expenses reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.


• Familiarity with civil litigation, courtroom procedures, and applicable legal processes.


• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate cases and pursue effective resolutions.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong organizational and case management abilities.


• Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.


• Comfortable working independently while maintaining professional communication with clients, courts, counsel, and colleagues.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and work effectively within technology-based systems.
