Minimum of 20 hours per week.
No formal education requirement.
Must hold a current Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist certification.
At least one year of relevant peer support, behavioral health, recovery, or community-based experience.
Services will primarily be provided in the community while meeting directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Use lived experience appropriately to promote hope, recovery, self-determination, and personal choice.
Build supportive, recovery-focused relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and respecting client rights.
Help clients identify strengths, goals, natural supports, and community resources that support their recovery.
Support clients in developing self-advocacy, problem-solving, coping, communication, and community-living skills.
Connect clients with recovery resources, mutual-support opportunities, behavioral health services, and other community supports when appropriate.
Encourage client participation in treatment and recovery planning while supporting the client's voice and preferences.
Recognize signs of crisis or increased support needs and follow established procedures for obtaining assistance or making appropriate referrals.
Collaborate with the client's service team while maintaining the distinct role and scope of peer support.
Complete accurate, timely service documentation that reflects the support provided and the client's progress toward identified goals.
