Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Peer Support Specialist to join our Third Shift team. If you're passionate about making a real impact in times of crisis, we want to hear from you. Please note: Weekend availability is required.

Hourly rate for Crisis Service Peer Support Specialist with Certification by DMHA as a Certified Peer = $17.50/hour

Hourly rate for Crisis Service Peer Support Specialist with NO Certification = $16/hour

Third Shift Differential: $1/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide peer recovery services including crisis intervention, outreach, and engagement
  • Support individuals experiencing acute crisis in person and by phone
  • Build rapport using lived experience
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Certification preferred; eligibility required.
  • To be considered certified, must have either:
  • Indiana Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP-DMHA), or
  • Certified Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC-A or CPRC – ICAADA)

  • Valid driver's license and required insurance
