What You'll Do
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
- Oversee other assigned team members.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care.
- Assess patients' physical, psychological, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
- Individualize care based on assessments and in collaboration with patients and families.
- Implement clinical and technical aspects of care and physicians’ orders.
- Evaluate patient responses to established goals and interventions.
- Coordinate with appropriate resources and multidisciplinary team members for discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment options.
- Ensure compliance with standards of practice and care.
Requirements
Education:
- BSN required
Experience:
- 2 years Pediatrics experience required
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current RN License in Massachusetts
- NRP required within the first year of employment
