Opportunity:

Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatrics


Job Details:

  • Coverage needed 1 weekend per month through July

  • Call only position with 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM shifts

  • Patient encounters per shift: 4-8 patients

  • BLS and PALS certifications required

  • Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)

  • Fellowship required

  • Trauma Level 3 facility with Pediatrics Level 1 designation

  • 3 Pediatric beds and 14 nursery beds in department

  • 24-hour support services available include: Anesthesia, Catheterization Lab, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology

  • Pediatric procedures required: Inpatient care, Nursery Level I, attending C-sections and deliveries, non-invasive ventilation management (BiPAP/CPAP), ventilation management (acute and chronic), intubation (newborn and pediatric), and central line placement

  • Nursery Level II/NICU experience and PICU experience preferred
