Our physicians and advanced practice providers work together to support hospital-based newborn nursery services, providing comprehensive care for infants from birth through discharge. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician who enjoys caring for newborns and collaborating with obstetric, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Provide newborn nursery coverage and medical care for infants in the hospital setting
- Perform newborn physical examinations, assessments, and routine screenings
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common newborn conditions prior to discharge
- Provide neonatal stabilization as needed
- Collaborate with obstetric providers, nursing staff, and hospital teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Communicate effectively with families regarding newborn health, treatment plans, and discharge education
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and clinical guidelines
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in Pediatrics
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered newborn care
